Mark Griffin represented the landowner in obtaining permits for the construction of a 50,000 square foot medical building in the City of Newburyport. This complex process required approvals from the Planning Board, Zoning Board and the City Council. Despite some opposition and initial litigation the project was approved quickly and is now fully constructed. The Newburyport Medical Center is adjacent to the Anna Jaques Hospital campus and provides, among other things, outpatient cancer treatment.
